John Marcus Hunt

John Marcus Hunt, 68, of Oakhurst, died Saturday, August, 20, 2011, at his home. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 23, 2011, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Coldspring. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 25, 2011 at the Hunt -Jenkins Cemetery in Louisiana. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Coldspring. John was born December 11, 1942, in Mobile, AL. He was a retired manager in the construction industry and member of the Oakhurst Full Gospel Church. Mr. Hunt was preceded in death by his father Charles P. Hunt Sr. and brother: Charles P. Hunt, Jr. He is survived by his wife Pat Hunt of Oakhurst and children: John, Donnie, Rubie, Terri Lynn and Sherri Lynn, spouses/children in-law, Angie, Christy, Tony, Angelo and Randy, his mother: Frances M. Gardner Hunt, ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild, a niece he thought of as a daughter: Billie Smith and husband Ben, and many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and close friends.
