John Lee Winkelmann

John Lee Winkelmann, 52, of Baytown passed away on September 3, 2020 in Baytown, Texas. John was born June 14, 1968 in Baytown, Texas to parents, Wilbert Winkelmann and Mary Wilson Winkelmann.

John had been a longtime resident of Baytown and had previously lived in Dayton. He was a 1986 graduate of Sterling High School in Baytown. He participated in the FFA and the Band. He proudly served in United State Marines. John was a member of the Texas State Guard where he served as Staff Sgt in the 6th Battalion 8th Regimen. He currently worked as an electrician for RUS Industrial. John loved being with his family and will be missed by all that knew him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wilbert Otto Winkelmann and Levirna Winkelmann. He is survived by his wife, Joey Winkelmann; his parents, Wilbert and Mary Winkelmann; daughters, Amanda Winkelmann and Meagan Winkelmann; stepson, Tanner Sewell; brother, Kyle Winkelmann and wife Valerie; numerous other relatives and friends.

Services for John will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
