John Edward Hughes

John Edward Hughes was born May 22, 1947 in Pittsburgh, Texas to parents, Harry Edward Hughes and Rita Mary Burke Hughes. He passed away January 13, 2024 in Kingwood, Texas at the age of 76. John proudly served our country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War from 1965-1968 on the USS Ranger. He had a long career in information technology and loved working with computers. 

John was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Edward and Rita Mary Hughes. He is survived by his children, Jon Edward Hughes and wife Cathy, and Angela Suzanne Beard and husband Jason; sister, Mary Hughes; brother, Michael Hughes; grandchildren, Jacob Stone and wife Julia, Dustin Stone and wife Sierra, Julie Stone and husband Steven, Brendan Beard and his girlfriend Peyton Sulak, and Gavin Beard and his girlfriend Neveah Hanns; great grandchildren, Steven Stone and Sophia Stone.
