John Edgar Faulkner, 66, of Beeville died Wednesday, October 18, 2017.
Services for John will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Walter Brumley officiating. Interment will follow at Faulkner Morgan Cemetery in Cleveland. The family will receive friends 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday evening, October 21, 2017 at the funeral home.
John was born June 4, 1951 in Conroe, Texas to parents, Andrew Vinson “A.V.” Faulkner and Una “Peggy” Davison Faulkner. He was a lifelong resident of Dayton where he was a 1969 graduate of Dayton High School. He took great pride in showing cattle with Donna and Lacey. He was a master gardener and loved being outdoors working in the yard. He was a diligent employee and was a very well respected during his 41 year career at Chevron. Watching his daughters raise his grandchildren using the same principles he used was his greatest joy. Spending time with his grandchildren and being a model grandfather was a priority in his life.
John was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by Velvet Sugarek, son, Garry and Kushan Sugarek and his daughter Dawn all of Beeville. He is also survived by his daughters, Donna Beasley and husband Stewart and Lacey Brumley and husband Jason; brothers, Barry Faulkner and wife Carolyn and Bobby Faulkner and wife Cindy; sisters, Sherry Greak and husband Kenneth and Judy Bostick and husband Larry; grandchildren, Tyler Beasley, Seth Brumley, and Grant Brumley; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
