John Daniel Swift

John Daniel Swift, age 73, of Rye, Texas, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2010. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on March 12, 1937 to Harold William Swift and Lucille Phillips Swift who preceded him in death along with step-mother, Lucille Utterback Swift; step-brother: Darrell Utterback. Survivors include his loving wife, Sally Ann Swift; daughters, Rachel and husband, Mark Scotchmer of Athens, Texas, Roxy and husband, Matt Heffernan of Tomball, Rebecca Swift of Athens, Texas, Ronda and husband, Bobby Boyd of Humble, Texas; grandchildren, Daniel and Joseph Scotchmer, Matthew and Annmarie Heffernan; brother, Howard Lee Swift and wife, Jo Anna of Del Norte, Colorado; brother-in-law, Charlie Eugle and wife, Sue of Rockville, Indiana; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving and caring family members and treasured friends. Bro. Rolan Coyle will preside over funeral services held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 21, 2010, Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment at Holly Grove Cemetery, Segno, Texas. Pallbearers included Mark Scotchmer, Michael Heffernan Sr., Matt Heffernan Sr., Danny Danford, Bobby Boyd, Mike Davis, Dennis Wiggins, Larry Ward; honorary pallbearers, Daniel Scotchmer and Matthew Heffernan Jr.
