John's journey began in Houston where he was welcomed into the world by his parents, Donnie Jones and Barbara Bamburg. He grew up from a little “knucklehead” and graduated from Channelview High School. John had many obstacles stand in his way but with God, family, and his dedication to himself he overcame them all. He spent many years in the sheet metal trade climbing his way to the top. With grit and determination, he built his company from the ground up with the main goal being to pass his legacy to his children. He established himself as a respected and successful businessman in the community. All while gaining trust and friendships to many along the way.
Beyond TMAC, John's heart overflowed with love and devotion for his family and faith. His love for Jesus radiated through every aspect of his life. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Sharon Bamburg, and a cherished father to his daughters, Amber, Brittany, Brande, Brooke, and son Dillon. His family was the cornerstone of his existence, and he LOVED his role as "Paw Paw". He was not only “PAW PAW” to his grandchildren but also to their cousins and all the neighborhood children.
John's love for life and his family extended beyond the wall of his home, as he eagerly embraced the opportunity to create lasting memories through annual vacations. Whether it was spring breaks in Florida, adventures along the Frio River, or journeys to the majestic landscapes of Colorado, John's enthusiasm and warmth transformed every trip into a cherished experience. Where he spared no expense for those grandchildren. Ask them and they will tell you how spoiled they are.
Known for his generous spirit and welcoming nature, John was everyone's trusted confidant and steadfast support. He found joy in hosting gatherings, where John stressed over his yard and making sure everything was perfect. Friends and family alike were always welcomed with open arms and abundant hospitality.
As John bids farewell to this earthly realm, he is reunited with his beloved mother, Barbara Jones, and father-in-law, Kelton Jordan, in the embrace of eternal peace. He leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.
