Joetta Kathryn Pyle

Joetta Kathryn Pyle, age 69 of Coldspring, Texas passed away Friday, March 13, 2020. She was born March 15, 1950 in Hugo, Oklahoma to parents Joseph Leslie and Joy Milburn who preceded her in death along with her son, David Anthony Leslie.

Joetta was a joyful woman who loved children, life, fishing and traveling. She was a very social person and enjoyed being with family and friends. Joetta loved attending church services. She will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Survivors include her husband, Alvin S. Pyle; daughters, Kristie Harris and husband Thomas, and Amber McKenzie and husband Shawn; brother, Tony Leslie and wife Shonda; stepfather: Howard Milburn; grandchildren, Laramie Littles and husband Austin, Laci Harris, Aspen Harris, Blake Mitchell, Alex Mitchell, Leslie McKenzie, Elizabeth McKenzie, Cesar McKenzie, and Ivan McKenzie; great-grandchildren, Luke Littles and Avery Willis; step-children, Lisa Dittman and husband Scott, Steven Pyle, Jason Pyle and wife Victoria, Sara Schackleford and husband Ronan, Aaron Pyle, and Faith Henry and husband Daniel; step-grandchildren, Philip Henry, Grayson Dittman, Braden Pyle, Maddox Pyle, Adley Schackleford, and Ethan Schackleford; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Paul Horton United Methodist Church, Coldspring, Texas. In lieu of flowers, her family would encourage donations to Paul Horton United Methodist Church.
