Joe Street

Joe B. Street, age 88, of Coldspring, Texas, passed away peacefully October 6, 2010. He was born April 6, 1922 in Coldspring, Texas to parents, Andrew Joseph and Clara Frances Street who preceded him in death along with his loving wife, Ellen Joyce Street; son, Rodney Neal Street; and daughter, Connie Joyce Lee Bialas. Mr. Street was a WWII veteran; serving in the U.S. Army Private First Class 101 Airborne. He was a Jeweler/Watchmaker in profession. He treasured the time with his family and friends. He will always be remembered, he will always be loved. Survivors include his daughters, Blenda Jo Paradeaux and husband, Mike of Crosby, Texas, Deborah Lynn Moody and husband, Micheal of Baytown, Texas; longtime companion, Nella Brown; brother, Norman Street of Coldspring, Texas; sisters, Lonnie Delvechio of Coldspring, Texas, Vida Stanley of Coldspring, Texas, Francis Brown Walters of Baytown, Texas; grandchildren, Andrea Lee, Sean Rhoden, Dustin Paradeaux, Matthew Paradeaux, Shane Moody, Michelle Helm, Melissa Moody, Amanda Copeland, and T.J. Street; great-grandchildren, Bradley and Brandon Rhoden Sierra, Savannah and Lane Moody, Ryan and Kayla Helm, Karianna, Melanie and Alexander Horta, Aiden Slayden, Megan Paradeaux, Cody, Luke and Lily Paradeaux, Hunter, Mason, and Emma Copeland; and other family members and caring friends. Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Coldspring, Texas. Bro. Lamar Thomas will preside over funeral services being held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 9, 2010, Pace-Stancil Chapel, Coldspring, Texas with interment at Street Cemetery, Coldspring, Texas. His grandsons and great-grandsons will honor him as pallbearers.
