Joetta Dehay Laza, 46, of Cleveland passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018 at home. She was born January 4, 1972 in South Korea.
Service for Jodie will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Dayton with Vance Elliott and Dave Dougherty officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
Jodie had lived in this area since 1998. She always thought of her family first and foremost. She loved to help others. Jodie was a wonderful aunt to all her nieces and nephews and always made sure everybody got candy from her. She enjoyed the outside and birdwatching. Jodie was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Jodie was preceded in death by her father John Thomas Dehay, grandparents, E.R. Parks and Emma Brazil. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Michael Thomas Laza; her father and mother-in-law, Thomas and Alice Laza; grandmother-in-law, Hilda Laza; sisters, Denita and Leslie Robertson, Marcie Hill and Richard DelaSantos and Lorie Reed; brothers, Rick and Wendy Dehay, Thomas and Tammy Dehay, Paul and Crystal Laza, William Dehay, John and Mandy Dehay; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
