Jo Ann Mcwhorter

Jo Ann McWhorter, age 76 of Thicket, Texas, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018. She was born July 13, 1941 in Houston, Texas to parents Lewis and Gladys Sheppard who preceded her in death along with her husband, Bobbie Earl McWhorter, Sr.; grandson, Blake Eason; brothers, Buddy Sheppard, Charles Sheppard and James Ray Sheppard; and sisters, Jean Elliot and Merle Auvil.

Survivors include her son, Bobbie Earl McWhorter, Jr. and wife Linda; daughter, Terrie Eason and husband Norris; grandchildren, Hannah Daffron and husband Michael, Anna Bryant and husband James, Sarah Taylor and husband Rance; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Alissa, Lucas, Payton and Hailee; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 19, 2018 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Midway Cemetery, Livingston, Texas.
