Jimmy Allan "Jimbo" Turner

Jimmy Allan “Jimbo” Turner, age 56 and a resident of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Monday, July 15, 2013 at Kingwood Medical Center. He was born December 13, 1956 in Cleveland, Texas to parents J.B. Boots Turner and Bernice Turner who preceded him in death along with his daughter Naomi Turner. He was a mechanic by profession; he enjoyed boating, fishing, and many other activities but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He was a devoted husband, loving father, tireless grandfather, and steadfast friend. He will be remembered lovingly. Survivors include his loving wife Dorothy A. Turner; sons Jaybo Turner and wife Shona, Heith Turner, Keith Turner; brother Gene Austin and wife Carol; special great-niece Graycee Merrell; nephews Richey Austin and wife Wendy and a host of treasured friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 18, 2013, 6:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Bro. Zack Curry will preside over funeral services being held 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 19, 2013, Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment following at Bear Creek Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas. Pallbearers include Billy Jack Merrell, Jody Goodrum, Willie Croft, Jimmy White, Esteban Sosa, and Tristan Williamson; honorary pallbearers include Jimmy Capers and Luke Gresett.
