Jim Cody Chancey

Jim Cody Chancey, age 59 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016. He was born May 25, 1957 in Houston, Texas to parents Jim P. Chancey and Lilia Chancey. He is preceded in death by his wife, Deborah; father, Jim P. Chancey; and grandson, Malachi.

Survivors include his mother, Lilia Chancey; children, Laura Chancey, Codie Chancey, Theresa Chancey, Jim Patrick Chancey, Billy Chancey and Leslie Briggs; siblings, Nancy “Sissy” and husband James, Pat and Olean Chancey, Russell and Patricia Chancey, Effie Tope; niece and nephews, James Winder, Jr., Joshua Denson, Trina Murphy and Marsha Cruchelow; ten grandchildren, other nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 12:00 noon, Friday, November 11, 2016 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park, Humble, Texas.
