Jesse Glenn, 82, of Hull, died June 26, 2015, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Palms Memorial Park in Dayton. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Jesse was born August 25, 1932 in Dryprong, Louisiana, to parents; Frank and Pearl Walker Glenn, a former resident of Liberty, and has resided in Hull for the past 19 years. He was a veteran of the US Army, member of the Day Springs Church, and a retired longshoreman for I.L.A #1273. He also enjoyed fishing and sports. Mr. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 49 years: Jewel Glenn, brothers: Huey, Ernest, and Henry Glenn, and sister: Darlene Chandler. He is survived by his daughter: Wanda Joyce High and husband Alva of Baytown, sons: Jesse Andrew Glenn, Jr. and wife Sandy of Tarkington Prairie, Johnny Frank Glenn and wife Debra of Smith Point, and Kevin Wayne Glenn and wife Tracey of Baytown, sister: Gloria Avery of Louisiana, brother: Houston Glenn of Louisiana, grandchildren: Jesse Andrew Glenn, III, Andrea Anderson, Bucky Glenn, Steven High, Jeffrey High, Brandon Glenn, and Kelli Glenn, 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
