Jerry William Evans

Jerry William Evans, age 77, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Monday, February 2, 2015. He was born August 11, 1937 in Mineral Wells, Texas to parents Virgil L. Evans and Eleanor Fallon Evans who preceded him in death.

Jerry loved chip carving and playing in the woodshop. He was a loving husband and great father to five awesome boys and will be greatly missed by all.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Carolyn Vickers Evans; sons Jerry W. Evans Jr. and wife Shirley, Jimmy Wayne Evans, Gary Don Evans and wife Linda, Randy Dale Evans and wife Marion and Steven Ray Evans and wife Kathy; sisters Glenda Dilbeck, Linda Kay Woody, Joyce Burdue, and Marilyn Yowell; numerous grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 6, 2015 at Cleveland Memorial Park with Reverend Dr. Dale Hunt officiating.
