Jerry Owen “J.O.” Carley, age 73 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Friday, March 11, 2016. He was born May 3, 1942 in Hugo, Oklahoma to parents John Henry Carley and Oregon Carley who preceded him in death along with his brothers, John Harvey Carley and Wayne Carley; sister, Georgia Ellen Cheatwood; and great-grandson, Dakota Craig Carley.
Survivors include his wife, Lydia Carley; daughters, Bretza Thomas, Nannette Carley, Tracy Miller and Kay Ruiz; sons, Jerry Carley, Malcolm Bihl and Anthony Bihl; sisters, Bernice Huls, Martha Williams, Ovetta Hitchcock, Mary Hitchcock and Johnnie Landes; brother, Aron Carley; grandchildren, Posha Long, Carla Jo Brown, Steven Thomas, Malcolm Bihl, Jr., Shauna Overton, Crystal Choppa, Rebecca Bihl, Jonathan Bihl, Anthony Bihl, Jr., Joseph Bihl, Thomas Miller, Travis Miller, Josh Ruiz and Madelyn Ruiz; great-grandchildren, Kiya Carley, Hayden Long, Charlee Long, Nathaniel Brown, Ash Bihl, Juliet Bihl, Mason Ward, Lance Overton, Trinity Ward, Robert Ward, Henry Bihl, Anthony Bihl, III and Thomas Miller, Jr.; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Calvary Baptist Church, Cleveland, Texas.
