Jenny Delores Abel

Jenny Delores Crouthers Abel, 61, of Liberty died January 18, 2018 in Beaumont, Texas. Mrs. Abel was born August 15, 1956 in Liberty, Texas to parents, James Edward Crouthers, Sr. and Naomi Nugent Crouthers.

Services for Mrs. Abel will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 22, 2018 at the Pentecostal Tabernacle Church in Liberty. The family will receive friends starting at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Pentecostal Tabernacle Church. Burial will be at Wilderness Cemetery under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Dayton.

Jenny was a lifetime resident of the Liberty area and was a member of the Community Chapel in Hull. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, and most of all being with her kids and grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Edward Crouthers, Sr., brothers, James Edward Crouthers, Jr. and David Earl Crouthers. She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Sim Abel of Liberty; her mother, Naomi Nugent Crouthers of Liberty; sons, Gary Louis Marcantel, Jr, and wife Ashanda of Liberty, Tony James Marcantel and wife Christina, and Timothy Wayne Fregia and Marsha; brothers, Columbus Divick Crouthers and wife Viola and Daymon Wayne Crouthers and wife Penny; sisters, Evelyn Marie Satterwhite and husband Ben, and Lillie Pearl Tennie and husband Frank; nine grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Serving as pallbearers are Justin Hendricks, David “Bubba” Crouthers, Matt Tennie, Andrew Tennie, Buckey Crouthers, Cody Marcantel, Reuben Messer and John Kirkham. Honorary pallbearer is Hunter Marcantel.
