Jeff Hillory Moore

Jeff Hillory Moore, 48, of Dayton died Thursday, December 5, 2013 in Houston after an extended illness. Jeff was born December 23, 1964 in Baytown, Texas to parents Jess Sanford Moore and Bertha Marie Cotton Moore. He was a lifelong resident of Dayton and graduated from Dayton High School in 1984 and attended Lee College. Jeff had worked as an operator for G.E. Aero Energy in Houston, enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking and the Texans football. Service for Jeff will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Memory Gardens in Baytown. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Jeff was preceded in death by his father: Jess S. Moore and his step-father: Joe McShan. He is survived by his daughter: Nicole Pantalion and husband Cody of Dayton; his mother: Bertha M. Cotton McShan of Dayton; his grandson: Colton Joe Pantalion of Dayton; sisters: Betty McCauley and husband Steve of Dayton, Terry Lea Vaughn of Dayton, and Donna Faye Urban and husband Buddy of New Braunfels; brother: John R. “Dickey” Moore of Woodville; also numerous other relatives and friends.
