Jeanie Louise Mccomb

Jeanie Louise McComb was given life by her creator and then was born on October 6, 1919, in Kenmore, Ohio. She was the child of the late Robert and Elma (Neff) Graham. She was reborn of water and the Spirit when she was baptized into The Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. She publicly confessed her willingness to give her life for the Biblical faith bestowed by God's Word in Baptism and taught through the Biblical explanations included in the Small Catechism of Martin Luther. Throughout her life she frequently received the precious gift of the Lord's life-giving body and blood. On August 27, 1940, she was united in holy matrimony to Robert Frank Treat, the father of her two beloved children: Merle Harris of Houston, wife of Maurice, and Helen Herridge of Lufkin, wife of Gary. After Robert passed on to glory, she was joined in holy matrimony to Johnny McComb in 1986, who passed in 2001. God blessed Jeanie with many special people as she served in her Godly vocations as daughter, sister, wife, mother, Foley's employee and citizen at home, church, and in the community. Finally, on January 2, 2013, God blessed Jeanie with a holy death and took her home to rest in the arms of Jesus to await the resurrection of the dead with her faithful loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents and faithful husbands. She is survived by her daughters. Jeanie has 4 grandchildren: Cindy, Daniel, William, and Brian, and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. The Lord gives and the Lord takes away; blessed be The Name of the Lord. We give thanks to God our Father through Jesus Christ, our Lord, for Jeanie, our dear sister in Christ. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 05, 2013, 10:00 a.m. at Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment at Farley Chapel Cemetery, Shepherd, Texas.
