Jean Gates

Melba Jean Gates, age 86 of Lufkin, Texas, passed away Monday, April 3, 2017. She was born June 4, 1930 in Houston County, Texas to parents Albert Elzen and Mildred Elsie Dixon Gregg who preceded her in death along with her husband, Osvill T. Gates.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Gary Frost; Grandchildren and spouses, Kristy and Gregg Christiansen, Greg and Lia Frost, and Kelly Frost, Great-Grandchildren, Annaliese Hartman, Noelle Hartman, Allie Jo Frost, Emma Christiansen and Ava Christiansen. Other Survivor: Rosalind Frost.

Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Pace Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens, Cleveland, Texas.
