Jean Elizabeth Dabney, age 84 of Coldspring, Texas, passed away Friday, September 18, 2015. She was born October 9, 1930 in Houston, Texas to parents Henry Dewey Carter and Sadie Gilbert who preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband, Ray F. Dabney; sons, Dennis L. Dabney and wife, Suzanne of Coldspring, Tx., and Keith E. Dabney and wife, Odalys of LaPorte, Tx.; daughter, Beth R. Dabney Rodrigues and husband, Robert of LaPorte, Tx.; grandchildren, Shawn M. Dabney and wife, Elain G. Dabney, Shannon L. Dabney, Jason A. Dabney, Joshua R. Dabney and wife, Elizabeth, Bethany Dabney Rosier and Fiance, Jeffrey Jeffers, Melissa G. Dabney and wife Mel L. Nichols, Brian Dabney and wife, Emily, Courtney Rodrigues, and Aaron “Alex” Rodrigues; great grandchildren, Patrick and Caleb Dabney, Jason Dabney, Jr., Kaitlyn Dabney, and Micah Dabney, Weston Rosier, Caden Dabney and Lorelei Dabney. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Coldspring, Texas. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 21, 2015 at First Baptist Church, Coldspring, Texas. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Coldspring, Texas.
