Jay Nelson

Jay Nelson, age 73 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017. He was born October 30, 1943 in Livingston, Texas to parents Jack and Doris Nelson who preceded him in death along with his wife, Linda Nelson; and brother, Ricky Nelson.

Survivors include his sons, Shannon Lamar Nelson, Sean Hardy Nelson and wife Wanda; daughter, Heather Lynn Nelson; grandchildren, Courtney Dykes, Meagan Brandon, Sarah Nelson, Ethan Ling and Samantha Ling; nephew, Luke Nelson and wife Stephanie; numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Cleveland Memorial Park, Cleveland, Texas.
