Jared Lee Snell, age 35 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Friday, August 9, 2019. He was born July 22, 1984 in Houston, Texas to parents Danny and Leah Kelley Snell. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Louis and Barbara Snell, Carson Kelley, Lewey Anderson, and Gene and Nita Allen; and uncle, Brad Snell.
Survivors include his wife, Alyssa Gail Snell; parents, Danny and Leah Snell; father and mother-in-law, James and Robbie Bruce; grandmother, Ruby Anderson; daughters, Madelynn and Vaeda; sons, Caiden and Drake; sisters, Amy Smith and husband Brian, and Becca Whitmire and husband Taylor; brother, Derek Snell and wife Lona; brother-in-law, Clint Allen; nieces and nephews, Lileigh Allen, Carter Allen, Blake Bennett, Sophie Snell, Cameron Smith, and Arya Smith; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 16, 2019 at Cornerstone Church, Cleveland, Texas, officiated by Bro. Doug Morris. Interment will follow at Ryan Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.
To those wishing to show their love and support for Atascosita Lt. Jared Snell and his Family.
In lieu of flowers please bring a toy to the service. Jared was so moved by this same powerful gesture made by the Garza Family after the tragic loss of Gunner Garza that he wished to repeat that cycle of love. The toys will be donated to Texas Children's Hospital in the name of Jared Snell so that he may continue to bring smiles and laughter to this world.
If you wish to donate, all toys must be hard plastic (no stuffed animals) and new in the box. No toy weapons (toy swords, nerf guns, etc.)
