Janet Hollis

Janet Hollis, age 79, of New Caney, Texas, passed away Monday, February 04, 2013. She was born July 31, 1933 in Houston, Texas to parents John and Leana Erickson who preceded her in death along with her loving husband Sidney Samuel Hollis Sr.; and her daughter Tracey Kay Hollis. Janet Hollis was a very kind person with a tender heart and was deeply devoted to her family. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Survivors include her daughters Jeneva Moulder and husband Ronnie, Kathy Lewis and Lyonal Browning, Charlotte Lewis and husband David, Sherry Fernandez and husband William, Pamela Hix; son Sidney S. Hollis Jr. and wife Angela; brother Edward E. Erickson; sixteen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other cherished family members and treasured friends. Visitation will be held Friday, February 09, 2013, 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 10, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment following at Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens. Pallbearers include Chris Perea, Alan Foster, Rickey Gonzales, Chris Smallwood, Sammy Hollis, and Bobby Corley.
