Jami LeAnn Chatham, age 17, of Huntsville, Texas passed away Tuesday, January 01, 2013 at Memorial Hermann Medical Center, Houston, Texas. Jami was born January 05, 1995 in Conroe, Texas. She was a student at Huntsville High School. Her favorite past time was softball, spending time with friends and family, and texting on her phone. Jami loved her family; she was a kind and giving, sweet and loving girl; she was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her brother Kalab Chane and her grandmother Bonnie Johnson. Survivors include her mother Janet Johnson; father Avery Wayne Chatham and wife Laci; grandparents Corbet Johnson and Helen Hall, James and Pat Chatham, and Donald and Karen Pegoda; sister Jennifer Crowson; brother Cyler Hamner; aunts and uncles Eric and Twila Chatham, Kandy Johnson, Calvin and Cody Johnson, Autumn Pegoda, and Heather Lawler; numerous other cherished family members and treasured friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 03, 2013, 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Rev. Ronald Ellisor will preside over funeral services being held Friday, January 04, 2013, 2:30 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment following at Farley Chapel Cemetery, Shepherd, Texas. Pallbearers include Calvin Johnson, Terry Mize, Christiann Chatham, Bobby Johnson, Eric Chatham, and Phillip Chatham; honorary pallbearers include Cyler Hamner and Silas Johnson.
