James Ralph Johnson

James Ralph Johnson “Pop”, age 88 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015. He was born July 18, 1927 in Houston, Texas to parents James B. and Emma Johnson who preceded him in death along with his wife, Archelene Johnson; brother, Herman Johnson; and grandson, Colin McCarty. Survivors include stepson, Stanley McCarty; grandson, Christopher McCarty Sr.; granddaughters, Casey Hurtt, Kimberly Denson, and Kellie Eleby; great-grandsons, Christopher McCarty Jr., Darrin McCarty, Colin Hurtt, Ty Hurtt, C.J. Denson, Torin “James” Hurtt, and Oneal Eleby; great-granddaughters, Marguerite McCarty, Araven “Missy” Eleby, Alexia Denson, Kristiana Denson, Mikayla Denson, and Madison Denson along with numerous other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 24, 2015 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas.
