Jack Lee Long, Sr.

Jack Lee Long, Sr., age 83 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018. He was born April 1, 1935 in Houston, Texas to parents William and Mildred Long who preceded him in death along with his brothers, Carol Long, Sammy Long and Robert Long; and sisters, Mary Long, Bessie Barnes and Margaret Provost.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Beverly Hamilton Long; son, Jack Lee Long, Jr.; daughter, Patricia Ann Long; brother, Delma Hugh Long and wife Marilyn; grandchildren, Jimmy Chadwell and wife Marci, Brendon Long and wife Mercadies; great-grandchildren, James Noel Chadwell, Ⅴ., Clara Gale Chadwell, Evelyn Rose Chadwell and Addison Marie Long; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mr. Long was a 1956 graduate of Tarkington High School and proud member of the Tarkington FFA. Jack was an avid rancher who loved his cows.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Services will follow starting at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Ryan Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tarkington FFA, 2770 FM 163 Cleveland TX 77327.
