Jack Lee Dillon, age 78, passed away in Cleveland, Texas on Wednesday, December 05, 2012. Jack died of natural causes associated with Alzheimer’s Disease. He was born on November 1, 1934 in Leonard, Texas to John L. Dillon, DDS and Lillian Colbath Dillon. He married Patsy Barker on October 29, 1954, after they met while both attending Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. He was a Forester for over 50 years and was also and was also an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman. He is survived by his wife, Patsy of 58 years; son, John Frank (Matt) and wife Cindy, and daughter, Jackie Lynn Dillon Ward. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Brooke Dillon Clark and husband Brandon, Christopher Dillon, Jason Ward and wife Leah, Logan Ward and Emily Smith; five great grandsons, Zachary, Dillon, Grady, Marshall, and Layne. He is survived by two sisters, Jane Dillon Henderson and Jo Dillon Sturgeon and one brother, Jere Dillon. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Jan Dillon Hensley. A celebration of life will be held on January 12, 2013, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at 1603 Southline St., Cleveland, Texas 77327.
