Jack Julian Click, Jr., age 86, of Rye, Texas, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2014, at his home. He was born September 23, 1927, in Hitchcock, Texas, to parents, Jack Julian and Ester Tacquard Click. Mr. Click was a Veteran of the United States Air Force serving his country honorably; a former resident of Texas City, Texas, employed for 20 years by Amoco Refinery. He resided in Rye, Texas for the past 38 years; he was a member of the Assembly of God Church, Romayor, Texas. His passion was carpentry and furniture; he was a person with values, commitment and character; he will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 3, 2014, 11:00 a.m., at the Assembly of God Church, Romayor, Texas, with Rev. Larry Jones officiating. Graveside services will be held Friday, April 4, 2014, 2:00 p.m., at Sardis Cemetery, Jewett, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Ester Click; brothers, Lawrence Click, William Click; and sister, Virginia Schanzer. Survivors include his wife Winona Ann Click; children, Jack Lynn Click and wife, Ann; Larry Wade Click, Gary Kirschner and wife, Sandy; Patricia Gibbins and husband, James; brothers, Harry Click and wife, Earlene; Taylor Click and wife, Joanie; sisters, JoAnn Robinson and husband, Harry; Bette Jane Tuttiomondo and husband, A.J.; grandchildren, Michael Click, Melissa Leger, Courtney Best, and Stephanie Klein; great-grandchildren, Michaela Click, Harry Leger, III, Raegan Click, Jairyn Leger, Andrew Klein, Matthew Klein, Zachery Kirschner, Zettie Kirscher, Linsey Gibbins, and Macy Lynn Gibbins; numerous nieces, nephews and other cherished family members and friends.
