Jack Jene Long

Jack Jene Long, age 89 of Shepherd, Texas, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018. He was born May 27, 1928 in Houston, Texas to parents Mary and Isaiah Long who preceded him in death along with his wife, Jeannie Long; and brothers, Sam, Forrest, Albert, Mahhon, Floyd, Joe, James and Richard.

Survivors include his children, Jimmy Long, Cecilia Fitzsimmons and Butter, Jackie Haltom and Jimmy; grandchildren, J.J. Long, Tommy Runyon, Sally Bosler, Tonya Beeson, Jack Allen Haltom and Kanisha Bradshaw; great-grandchildren, Bryan Long, Michael Long, Jaden Bradshaw, Logan Bradshaw, Robert Beeson, Kody Beeson, Trey Haltom, Kevin Haltom, Brandon Runyon, John Runyon, Brittney Runyon, Wyatt Runyon, Cody Bosler, Ashley Bosler, Haley Skelton, Morris Garrett and Erica Garrett; great great-grandchildren, Madelline Bosler, Everlie Runyon, James Runyon and Gabriel Runyon.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Farley Chapel Cemetery, Shepherd, Texas.
