J Isabel Trujillo Esquivel, 99, of Dayton, passed away Friday, November 11, 2022 at his home. He was born July 1, 1923 in Mexico to his late parents, Santiago Trujillo and Florencia Esquivel.
J moved from Mexico 16 years ago and has recently resided in Dayton. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and until he was 90 years old, was still riding a bike. A favorite past time was telling his grandchildren stories about his childhood and being with his familia was his passion.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Tomasa Trujillo.
Mr. Trujillo is survived by his sons, Miguel and his wife, Susana and Nabor and his wife Olivia; daughters, Socorro, Celia, Ofelia and her, husband Juan and Cecilia and her husband, Isidro; brother, Esteban; sisters, Jesus, Sabina and Ines; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Sergio Trujillo, Jorge Trujillo, Omar Trujillo, Oscar Cabrera, Cesar Labrada and Hugo Trujillo. The Honorary pallbearer will be Michael Trujillo.
A Rosary will be recited starting at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 17, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dayton with Father Paul Kahan, S.V.D. officiating. Burial will follow at Palms Memorial Park in Dayton.
