Iva Lee Hagy

Iva Lee Hagy, age 65 of Cleveland, Texas passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021. She was born September 26, 1955 in Bay City, Texas to parents John Paul Penix and Vernida (Pete) Penix who preceded her in death along with her grandparents, Iva Ruth Richardson (Hershel), Minnie Lee Penix and Doyle Bridges, Sr.; aunts and uncles, Melba (Bart) Spradlin, Doyle (June) Bridges, Jr. (Betty); and nieces, Sara Lackey and Tara Lackey.

Mrs. Hagy was a schoolteacher for 37 years. She taught at Splendora ISD and retired from Goodrich ISD.

Survivors include her sisters, Terri Wilmore and Joanna Lackey; brother, John (Bob) Penix and wife Connie; along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with visitation starting at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Cleveland Memorial Park, Cleveland, Texas.
