Homer Edward Fouty

Homer Edward Fouty, 81, of Dayton died Wednesday, April 9, 2014 in Cleveland. Mr. Fouty was born November 28, 1932 in Frame, West Virginia to parents Homer D. Fouty and Minnie Harper Fouty. He was retired from the United States Air Force, had worked for the United States Postal Service, and was a charter member of the Tarkington Prairie Baptist Church. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 12, 2014 at the Tarkington Prairie Baptist Church with Rev. Silas Hare officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday evening at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland. Private interment will follow at Restwood Memorial Park in Lake Jackson. Mr. Fouty was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Lena Thompson Fouty, parents, and four brothers. He is survived by his children, Linda McIntyre Megules, Rita Terrell and husband Rick, Homer Fouty Jr. and wife Sylvia, Dennis Fouty and wife Linda; grandchildren, Lindsey Buckmaster and husband George, Taylor Terrell, Lauren Fouty, Jonathan Fouty, Isaac Fouty and wife Jacqueline, David Fouty and MaryHelen Fouty; Great-grandchildren, Caroline Fouty, Annabelle and Ashley Buckmaster; sister, Margaret Hoffmann; brother-in-law, Allan Pearson and loving friend, MaryAnn Evans.
