Homer Dean Jones

Homer Dean Jones, age 71 of Coldspring, Texas, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018. He was born September 7, 1947 in Hampton, Virginia to parents Lawrence Ervin Jones and Margaret Elizabeth Hughes Jones who preceded him in death.

Homer D. Jones was a very hard-working man. He loved spending time with his family and friends. His hobbies were fishing, singing karaoke, and riding ATV’s. He dedicated his whole life to the woman he married 46 years ago. He enjoyed watching wrestling and The Walking Dead. He will truly be missed but never forgotten!!

Survivors include his wife, Meda A. Jones; daughters, Stephanie Harris, Deborah Allen, Teresa McCleney, and Denise Hill; sister, Sarah Pingol; brother, James Henry Jones; grandchildren, Andrew Hunnicutt, Amanda Hunnicutt, Danya Hinojosa, Garrett Coyne, Jr., Austin Coyne, Cameron Johnson, Jessica Johnson, Sarah Johnson, Cathleen Richardson, James Garland, Jr., Tiffany Ridgaway, Chasity Hill, Daltin Adams, and Justin Adams; great-grandchildren, Miya Johnson, Rayden Johnson, Jaxon Hunnicutt, Andrea Hunnicutt, Londyn Hunnicutt, Jeremy Hunnicutt, Alexyis Richardson, Madison McDonald, Sofia Ridgaway, Mason Ridgaway, Gauge Adams, Reighlynn Adams, and Jayden Garland; numerous other relatives and friends.
