Herman Willard Walker

Herman Willard Walker, age 71, born March 6, 1939 in Willow Springs, Texas, sadly passed away February 7, 2011. He was born to parents, Pat and Sudie Walker who preceded him in death along with sisters, Betty Jo Dean and Mamie Dell “Biddie” Blanks; brother, Floyd Walker. Herman was a loyal employee of Houston Lighting Power and retired after 33 years with the company.
Survivors include his loving wife, Lynne Walker; children, James Patrick Walker and wife, Melissa; Herman Bradley Walker and wife, Cheri; Karena Kay “K.K.” Walker; foster-son, Michael Henry Hazlewood and wife, Stacey; sisters, Frankie White; Sarah Elizabeth Cox and husband, Bill; Sudie Patsy Weaver and husband, Billy; grandchildren, Dallas James Walker and Katie Lynn Walker; best friends, Allen Netzel and wife, Florence; numerous nieces, nephews and other cherished family members and treasured friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 11, 2011, 4:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Coldspring, Texas. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 12, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, Coldspring, Texas with interment following at Mt. Zion Cemetery at Stephen Creek.
