Herbert Allen Rash

Herbert Allen Rash, 63, of Splendora, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017, at the Kingwood Medical Center.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 29, 2017, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with services concluding thereafter.

Herbert was born August 30, 1953 in Houston, to parents; Sam Rash and Elizabeth Wilson Rash, and has been a lifelong resident of Splendora. He was a graduate of the Splendora High School class of 1971, owner/operator of Casco Auto Parts, member of the Shepherd Masonic Lodge #866, and a longtime contributor to the Splendora community. He also enjoyed cars, cooking, 4-wheelers, and shopping.

Mr. Rash was preceded in death by his father: Sam Rash, mother: Elizabeth Wilson Johnson, brother: Howard Rash, and nephews: Kevin and Taylor Rash. He is survived by his wife of four years: Keri Varnes Rash, son: Elijah “Eli” Rash and wife Brittany, daughter: Jennifer Rash and companion Chris Walker, stepchildren: Andrea Milton, Annie Michelle, Kara Gillenwater, Justin Hickman, and Logan Gillenwater, brother: Thomas Rash, sister: Hazel Dawkins, his beloved Momma Dog, numerous God children, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
