Henry Edward Clark, 66, of Dayton passed away on December 26, 2022 at the VA Hospital in Houston, Texas. Ed was born June 13, 1956 in El Paso, Texas to parents Alfred Clark and Helen Caskey Clark.
Ed was a member of the Dayton community for the past 35 years where he was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Ed was a member of the volunteer fire department for the Westlake VFD and was a volunteer for the Red Cross. He also taught EMT classes and loved any opportunity to be of help to others. Through his job as a paramedic, Ed was credited for saving multiple lives and his greatest pleasure in life came from helping other people.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, April Leigh Clark Wagnon. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 48 years, Rita Clark; his son Shannon Clark; his sister Anna Stace and her husband Alex; and his nephew Michael Stace; and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be at Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Church in Liberty, Texas at 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 4, 2023. Services will be at the Jesus Christ of LDS Church of Liberty, Texas at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the Houston National VA Cemetery, Houston, Texas. All services will be held under the direction of Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Dayton, Texas.
