Helen Louise Hayden, age 92 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Monday, October 1, 2018. She was born August 22, 1926 in Amarillo, Texas to parents L.B. Hayden and Bernice Hayden.
Miss Hayden’s family relocated to Orange, TX in the early 1940’s. Their residence for many years was at #2 Circle C in Orange, TX. After 30+ years of service, Helen retired from Dupont in Orange. She loved many pets especially her dog Daisy Mae. During the last years of her life she became a country girl converting from the big city life style. She took up residency with her nephew George Hayden and wife Rhonda in Dolen, TX. Helen dearly loved her great grandnieces: Keira S. Hayden and Klarissa F. Hayden daughters of Andrew and Keylee Hayden. Helen passed on to Glory in the comforting hands of family and friends at her home.
She is preceded in death by her parents; stepmother, Marcel Hayden; brother, Grant S Hayden; grandnephew, Grant S Hayden; and soul mate, A.R. “Sandy” Sanders.
Survivors include her nephews, George A. Hayden & Wife Rhonda, Ellis L Hayden & Wife Jackie; grandnephews & nieces, Andrew Hayden & Wife Keylee, Brigette Brown, Jamie Johnson, Lance Hayden; numerous great grandnephews & nieces; along with a host of close friends and church members at Pin Oak Baptist Church and Dupont.
The family will have a private memorial service. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery, Orange, Texas.
