Harold Edward Stone

Harold Edward Stone, age 85 of Coldspring, Texas, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018. He was born December 28, 1932 in Lovelady, Texas to parents Grady Hamilton Stone and Velma Christine Hart who preceded him in death along with his brother-in-law, Wilburn Rowe.

Survivors include his wife, Sharron Harris Stone; son, William Grady Stone; daughter, Sherri Lynn Stone; sister, Helen Stone Rowe; grandchildren, Madison Gene Dowdell and Shane Edward Stone; nephews, Wilburn Randal Rowe, Stacy Allen Wright, and Grady Mitchell Rowe; nieces, Nita Christine Rowe, Linda, Jennifer, and Theresa Harris, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at First Baptist Church, Coldspring, Texas. Dr. Don Shannon will preside over services beginning at 2:00 p.m., with interment to follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers will be Charles Heintz, Markey Heintz, Floyd Keasling, Lawrence Keasling, Billy Jo Gurka, John Martin, William Barrett, and Gerald Webber. Honorary Pallbearers will be the rest of the team “Old Bears”.
