Harold Bowers

Harold Bowers, age 85 of Humble, Texas, passed away Friday, September 25, 2015. He was born March 25, 1930 in Varnville, South Carolina. He is preceded in death by parents, Hosea Presley Bowers and Mattie Corbin Bowers; sisters, Audrey Irene, Rosa Priscilla, Mary Ruth, Mattie Virgie, Hazel Posie, Wilhemina, and Sarah Margaret; and brothers, Junior Presley, Wheeler Amos, and Luther Rosco (Sonny). Survivors include his wife of nearly 65 years, Sheila King Bowers; children, Harold Bowers, Jr., Catherine Bowers Stone, Belinda Bowers Munke, Michael Presley Bowers, and Patricia Bowers Auel; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5:00p.m.,-7:00p.m., Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Coldspring, Texas. Services will be held 11:00a.m., Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church, Point Blank, Texas.
