Guy Albert Gertson, 70, of New Caney, Texas passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2020. Guy was born in Houston, Texas on October 28, 1949 and raised in Tarkington Prairie, Texas by parents Buddy and Rachel Gertson who precede him in death.

Guy was a 1969 graduate of Tarkington High school. He was an all-around outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. In his youth, Guy was very athletic. He could often be found tinkering away building all sorts of things. Guy will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his love of a good time. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew him.

Guy is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Carolyn Gertson; daughter, Samantha Milam and husband Dossie Milam; Grandchildren, Dillon Milam, Sage Lea and Nixon Milam. He is also survived by his three dogs Maximus, Achilles and Zeus as well many other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends in the chapel of Pace Stancil Funeral Home - Cleveland on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. His memorial service will start at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pace Stancil Funeral Home – Cleveland.
