Glenn Wayne Warner, 66, of Dayton died Wednesday, February 26, 2014 in Houston. He was born December 8, 1947 in Harrodsburg, Kentucky to parents Glenn D. and Lavena Devine Warner and was a graduate of Columbus High School in Columbus, Indiana. Glenn had been a resident of Dayton for the past 20 years, previously living in Oklahoma. He had worked for URS Engineering in Houston as a project manager, was a member of the Acworth Masonic Lodge # 176, the Houston Arabia Shrine, Scottish Rite, and the Iron Workers Local of Dallas. He served as a Drill Sergeant in the US Army from 1967 to 1969. Glenn loved being with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed horses and hunting. Services for Mr. Warner will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kim Percival officiating. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 33 years: Kathy Bex Warner of Dayton; his sons: Glenn K. Warner and wife Kimberly of Cedar Park, Matthew G. Warner and wife Christy of LaPorte, and Jarrod Thomas and wife Theresa of Oklahoma; his daughter: Kiley Wilson of Dayton; grandchildren: Dennis L. Holley & Haley Matula, Chelsea L. Holley, Megan Warner, Dominic Warner, Chelsi Thomas, Lauren White Wilson, Tyler L. Wilson, and Caleigh Chavez; great-grandchild: Keegan L. Holley; brothers: Charles M Bradley & wife JoAnn of Seabrook, Ronald Warner of Indiana, and Michael Warner of Oklahoma sisters-in-law: Becky Franks and husband Guy of Antlers, Oklahoma, Sunny Dixon and husband Roger Antlers of Oklahoma; aunt: Arnetta Warner Fallis of Harrodsburg, Kentucky; cousin: Ann Fallis Evans of Harrodsburg, Kentucky; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
