Glenn E. Kimbrell, 78, of Dayton Texas, passed away Monday, January 10, 2011, at the San Jacinto Methodist Hospital in Baytown.
Glenn was born March 19, 1932 in Batson, Texas to parents; Guy Kenneth and Lula Mae Morris Kimbrell, and has resided in the Liberty/Dayton area throughout his life. He was a retired brick mason from Arnold Construction after 30 years of employment. He was proud to have served his country in the US Army for 8 years. He was in active duty in the Korean War. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He had a deep love for animals and feeding the ducks at the park with his wife. He was loved by all.
Mr. Kimbrell was preceded in death by his parents and also daughter: Theresa Gail Kimbrell, and sister: Peggy Joyner . He will forever be loved by his wife of 56 years: Billie Wright Kimbrell of Dayton, forever in the hearts of his daughters: Glenda Hall (Mike Hall) of Alvin, Ginger Bell (James Thomas) of Dayton, Gail Kimbrell of Dayton, Sister: Allie Mae Vinson of Liberty, special friend: Shelley Tryon and daughter Darian of Ontario Canada, grandchildren: Cecelia Jordan (Curtis) Brenda Broyles, Amie Bell (Quinton Jones), Shawnda Bell (Odell Wells) Christina, Stephanie and Robert Hall, great-grandchildren: Miranda and Brianna Jordan, Justin and Veronica Jordan, Karri Vaughn, Bobby Broyles Jr, Cassie, Christopher and Travis Wells, Alissa, Felipe, Joseph, Marcus, Lorissa, Jacob Hall, Lorenzo and Issac Cervanthes and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
