Glenn Doyle Alford "Smooth"

Glenn Doyle Alford “Smooth”, age 82 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Friday, October 13, 2017. He was born in Rosevine, Texas to Monroe and Lillian Alford who preceded him in death along with his wife, Bobbie Barnett Alford; brothers, William, James and Gerald; and sisters, Louise and Julie.

He is survived by his daughters, Janet Collier and husband Eugene, Shari Boyce and husband Stephen; sister, Mildred Alford King; grandchildren, Brian Alford, Joseph Collier, Heather Collier and husband Heron Espinoza, Stephanie Edwards and husband Justin, Matthew Boyce and Chelsea Boyce; great-grandchildren, Colton Collier, Isabella Espinoza, Aubrey and Madilyn Edwards; numerous other relatives and friends.

Glenn retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service. Then he retired from Chevron after 18 years.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Services will follow starting at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with Skipper Eberlan officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Shade Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.
