Gladys Willis

Gladys LaFay Willis, age 86 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2015. She was born April 16, 1929 in Center, Texas. She lived in the Plum Grove area since 1946 and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Plum Grove. She is preceded in death by her husband, Sam Gaddy Willis; and son, Clarence Leon Willis. Survivors include her daughter, L. Renee Nestle of Cleveland, Texas; grandchildren, Rhonda C. Rhoden and husband Brad of Friendswood, Texas, Trudy M. Thompson and husband Joe of Cleveland, Texas, Joe A. Willis of New Caney, Texas, Crystal G. Steptoe and husband Terry of Lufkin, Texas, and Kira M. Nestle of Cleveland, Texas; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Rhoden, Kristina Thompson, Kayla Thompson, Tamon Willis, Chance Willis, Aubrie Willis, Dayne Willis, Skye Willis, Blaze Steptoe and Victoria Steptoe; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Plum Grove Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.
