Gerald V. Cartwright

Gerald V. Cartwright, age 82 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Friday, October 13, 2017. He was born September 2, 1935 in Hemp Hill, Texas to parents Virgie May and Vernice S. Cartwright who preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby Cartwright; sister, Janice Sula; sister-in-law’s, Velma Carr and husband Albert, Geraldine Craft and husband Doug, and Charlene Willis and husband J.R.; his family at The Sanctuary Church, and many other friends.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at The Sanctuary, Cleveland, Texas. Services will follow starting at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at The Sanctuary, Cleveland, Texas with Brother Howard officiating. Interment will follow at Morgan Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.
