Gerald Douglas Harris

Gerald Douglas Harris, age 80 and a resident of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2013. He was born December 04, 1933 in Highlands, Texas to parents, Jefferson Monroe and Clara Mae Caughman Harris who preceded him in death along with his daughter, Teresa Irby; sisters, Rachel Duncan and Pearline James; nephew, Mark Harris. Survivors include his wife, Benita Harris; daughter, Retha Darlene Harris; brother, Jeff Wayne Harris and wife Ruth; nephew, Craig and Charlotte Duncan; niece, Carmen and Vance Martin; grandchildren, Douglas and Stacey Harris, Michael Shane Wingate, Jerry and Mitzie French, Sherrece and Blake Anderson; great-grandchildren, Hayley Holmes, Dylan Benfield, Caleb Wingate, Devin Harris, Hunter French, Tori and Lyndsey Buss, Ashlyn, Aubrey and Aylee Anderson. Numerous other cherished family members and treasured friends throughout the years. Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 31, 2013, Montague Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.
