Georgia Lee Clark Brown, 83, of Coldspring, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2016, at The Bradford @ Brookside, in Livingston.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., May 17, 2016, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Coldspring. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., May 19, 2016, at the Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Coldspring.
Georgia was born September 9, 1932 in Daphne, Alabama, to Alvin W. and Minnie Davison Clark. She was a military wife who lived all over the world settling with her husband in Coldspring in 1987. She was a graduate of Daphne High School and a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her parents and her husband: James L. Brown, Jr. and their grandson Roger Hendrix Brown. She is survived by her children Ronnie Lee Brown, Connie Brown Leman and husband Kevin of San Antonio, James Ricky Brown and his wife Vera of Coldspring, Robert Alan Brown and his wife Terry of Friendswood, Roger Dean Brown, Christy Brown Smith and husband David of Texas City, and Cheryl Leslie Brown Wegner and Chuck Bailey of Tennessee, her sister Mazie Clark-Hanson of Alabama, and sister in law, Joyce Clark of Spanish Fort, Alabama, and brother in law Dickie Brown and his wife Margret of Jeanerette, Louisiana, and numerous nieces and nephews. She leaves the loves of her life, her grandchildren: James Ricky Brown Jr, Jeremy Alan Brown, Todd Robert Brown, Amber Brown, Jennifer Kara Messina Leman, Cory Scott Leman, Jayme Ann Smith, Chelsea Lynn Brown, Ryan Matthew Smith, Leslie Taylor Wegner, Carly Ann Brown, Jeffrey James Wegner, Emily Dawn Brown and Elizabeth Grace Brown. Great grandchildren include Avleigh Mann, Ethan Scott Leman, Maelie Parker Brown, Olivia Leman Leaverton, Annabelle Leman Leaverton, Eli James Leman, Raelynn Jane Reser, Bethany Diane Leman and a sweet baby on the way.
