George Emmett Colvin, 60, of Dayton, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2017 in Dayton. He was born August 27, 1957 in Pasadena to his late parents, Bob and Florence Colvin.
He was a lifelong resident of Dayton, an accomplished welder and a family man that put his family above all. He loved God and the Bible and devoted that love into working with Alcoholic Anonymous.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Deanna Colvin of Dayton; daughter, Tristen Colvin of Cleveland; grandson, Caleb Grammer of Cleveland; brother, Harlan Colvin and his wife, Sherri; mother-in-law, Kathryn Ransom; sister-in-law, Helen Ransom and numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law; nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. A service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at the funeral home with Rev. Joe Raiborn officiating. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Memorial Park in Liberty.
