Geneva Raley, 94, peacefully passed away on March 16, 2024, surrounded by family. She was born on May 8, 1929 to proud parents Henderson and Lizanne Coomer.
Geneva’s life was marked by a fulfilling career with Schlumberger, working as an engineer for over 20 years. After retirement, Geneva enjoyed a variety of hobbies. From taking day trips with her daughter to cooking with her beloved husband, Geneva always chose to have family close by. She loved traveling cross country and shopping with Brandy, her granddaughter and best friend. She also enjoyed watching westerns on TV. Throughout all of her hobbies and pastimes, it is evident Geneva cared most about her family.
To Geneva, there was no greater joy than getting to spend time with her granddaughter and great-grandchildren. She loved to love on her great-grandbabies and will be remembered for her caring and nurturing personality.
Geneva is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Fred C. Raley; parents, Henderson and Lizanne Coomer; sisters, Mabel, Mae, and Myrtle Lee.
She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Ann Reasoner; son, Michael Lynch and wife Sue; sister, Juanita Bostwar; granddaughter, Brandy Michelle and husband Kyle Richard Chrisman; great-grandchildren, Corey Lee Jr. and Nicole Lynn, Promise Cheyenne Merie, Gauge Hunter Laine; Ryder Kaicen Fox, Maverick Roper Legend, and Roper Canyon Tuff as well as other family members and friends.
A visitation for Geneva Raley will be held on Saturday, March 23rd from 2 pm-4 pm at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Cleveland, Texas
