Gene Alexander Darling, II., age 63 of Coldspring, Texas, passed away Friday, April 14, 2017. He was born September 28, 1953 in Houston, Texas to parents Gene A. Darling, Sr. and Ruby Price Darling. He is preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Stephenie Darling; mother, Ruby Darling; son, Trey Darling; daughter, Jessica Darling McNew and husband Shawn; brother, John Darling; sister, Susie Smith; grandchildren, Alexis Darling, Briley Darling, Shawn McNew and Nash McNew; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Coldspring, Texas. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Coldspring, Texas.
